Spectators: 5260 (Terracing: 4200, Seating: 1050, VIP seats: 10) Malhadas's Augusto Toledo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Malhadas's goalkeeper Nilson Faria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fábio Figueiredo. A collision led to John Deere FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Luiz Toledo hit a great ball. Nilson Faria stood somewhat misplaced when Kléber Gerber came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 12 minute. Afonso Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fábio Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as John Deere FC's Afonso Rocha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nilson Faria. That made the score 2-0 after 24 minutes of play. Kléber Gerber scored 3-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilson Faria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Malhadas's Nilson Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Gerber in the 34th minute of play. With his leg Nilson Faria managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when John Deere FC's Fábio Figueiredo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. John Deere FC's Fábio Figueiredo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 44 minutes in the game, fortunately Nilson Faria had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 46 minutes, Dráuzio Paraíba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malhadas and the John Deere FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dráuzio Paraíba hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kléber Gerber made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Figueiredo in the 52nd minute of play forced Malhadas's goalkeeper Nilson Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a John Deere FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. Nilson Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Gerber in the 55th minute of play. Malhadas's Nilson Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Figueiredo in the 59th minute of play. If Vivaldo Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléber Gerber in the 64th minute of play forced Malhadas's goalkeeper Nilson Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kléber Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nilson Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilson Faria didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when John Deere FC's Kléber Gerber shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Nilson Faria came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by John Deere FC's Fábio Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Fábio Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Afonso Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dráuzio Paraíba hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes Malhadas got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Mazza. When the referee ended the match the John Deere FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
