In the 16th minute Belmiro Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Quadrada's Joaquim Leme got control of the ball when Belmiro Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Belmiro Correia notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Quadrada's Joaquim Leme. The attack was good, but when Belmiro Lopes in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 58 minutes into the game, Belmiro Lopes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Joaquim Leme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Belmiro Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Joaquim Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Belmiro Lopes put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquim Leme. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Correia in the 88th minute of play forced Quadrada's goalkeeper Joaquim Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belmiro Lopes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquim Leme having to make a save. After having played for 91 minutes, Belmiro Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oiticica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belmiro Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Oiticica FC had played much better football throughout.
