In the 2nd minute, one of Jeff Marks FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jeff Marks FC. Arnaldo Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jano Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Arnaldo Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo de Almeida in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Jeff Marks FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Passos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo José Tróia. If Paulo José Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Amauri Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, DRYLU LIMA's Adrianinho Leme got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Arnaldo Passos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo José Tróia in the 25th minute. After 29 played minutes DRYLU LIMA got a freekick which was hit by Adrianinho Leme. 38 minutes into the match, Jeff Marks FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José Tróia came free, but Arnaldo Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jano Miranda struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Thiago Mineiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jeff Marks FC. Amauri Koehler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Mineiro having to make a save. 44 minutes into the game, Jano Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Thiago Mineiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo de Almeida to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Jeff Marks FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo de Almeida came free, but Arnaldo Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Guto Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes, Paulo José Tróia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DRYLU LIMA and the Jeff Marks FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes DRYLU LIMA got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Tróia. Arnaldo Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Tróia in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Jeff Marks FC booed when DRYLU LIMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caco da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeff Marks FC's Arnaldo Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo de Almeida in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Jeff Marks FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jano Miranda hit a great ball. If Paulo José Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo de Almeida in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute Jano Miranda managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Arnaldo Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo José Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. DRYLU LIMA's Haroldo de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Koehler in the 95th minute of play forced DRYLU LIMA's goalkeeper Thiago Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Jeff Marks FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jeff Marks FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
