The supporters of Quantigua F.C booed when Quiriritiua SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agnaldo Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mateus Mota came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Quantigua F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateus Mota couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Quiriritiua SS's Bebeto Prado got a free kick in the 7th minute. Mazinho Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Willian Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Quiriritiua SS getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Leandro Motta hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mazinho Linhares in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willian Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quantigua F.C's Mateus Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Quiriritiua SS's Agnaldo Tande ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rubinho Valle. Rubinho Valle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Agnaldo Tande fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quiriritiua SS's protests and gave Agnaldo Tande a yellow card for diving instead. Agnaldo Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Mazinho Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Leão having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Mazinho Linhares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willian Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of Quiriritiua SS booed when Quantigua F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Mazinho Linhares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quantigua F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. João Francisco Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Leão having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agnaldo Tande was the one to do the kick off. Mazinho Linhares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Willian Leão came out and tried to block the shot, but Mazinho Linhares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 52nd minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quiriritiua SS reached it. Silvério Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Willian Leão managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Quantigua F.C's Mazinho Linhares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bebeto Prado hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the match was over Quantigua F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Quiriritiua SS throughout the match.
