Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Clóvis Simões took the kick off in the first half of the match. Denílson Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Mesquita in the 7th minute of play. Clóvis Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Célio Mesquita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Denílson Soeiro made a huge save. Cláudio de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Doni de Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denílson Soeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. EC Suga Osso's Denílson Soeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save EC Suga Osso from getting a goal against them. When Doni de Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Real Social FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doni de Alcântara couldn't finish the play. When Doni de Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Social FC's protests and gave Doni de Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Real Social FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doni de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Vergílio might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fred Pitta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Vergílio ran back to his position shaking his head. Olavo Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Fred Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Clóvis Simões came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the EC Suga Osso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Simões couldn't finish the play. After having played for 38 minutes, Doni de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Social FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doni de Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Doni de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Célio Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doni de Alcântara was the one to do the kick off. If Olavo Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clóvis Simões blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fred Pitta having to make a save. EC Suga Osso's Clóvis Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in EC Suga Osso's zone, Célio Mesquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denílson Soeiro came out of the goal and Célio Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Doni de Alcântara put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Denílson Soeiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Mesquita in the 67th minute of play forced EC Suga Osso's goalkeeper Denílson Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Prado charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olavo Prado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clóvis Simões who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Fred Pitta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Clóvis Simões in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fred Pitta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Clóvis Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Célio Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Social FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Célio Mesquita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson Soeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rdth minute of the game Célio Mesquita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EC Suga Osso's Denílson Soeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute Olavo Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico Salles's late challenge caught a EC Suga Osso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eurico Salles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, Real Social FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Salles to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Simõess short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Fred Pitta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
