After 34 played minutes Jupy EC got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Simões. 40 minutes into the match, Walmir Leão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of César de Almeida. Jupy EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmir Leão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The Jupy EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Narga FC were winning 0-4.

Edmundo de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Vidal in the 51st minute of play. Edmundo de Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mário Maranhense went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the game, Benê Severo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jupy EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Narga FC the free kick. In the 57th minute, Benê Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Jupy EC booed when Narga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. César de Almeida made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when D.J. Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 78thth minute of the game D.J. Ribeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jupy EC's César de Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Narga FC's Alberto Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. César de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of D.J. Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes Walmir Leão rounded Jupy EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-5. In the 97th minute, Mário Maranhense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jupy EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. The Jupy EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Narga FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
