Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) Concórdia's Edgard Guimarães started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Samuca Bastos came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rec Sportivo FC's Viggo Wallman. But to his dismay, Viggo Wallman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Concórdia's Samuca Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Wallman in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute Viggo Wallman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matías Mello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuca Bastos having to make a save. Concórdia's Samuca Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Wallman in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Viggo Wallman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuca Bastos was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Concórdia's zone, Edinho Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuca Bastos came out of the goal and Edinho Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Rec Sportivo FC got a freekick which was hit by Enio Faria. The supporters of Rec Sportivo FC booed when Concórdia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Concórdia's Samuca Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Wallman in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Viggo Wallman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rec Sportivo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viggo Wallman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viggo Wallman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Samuca Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Matías Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuca Bastos was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Viggo Wallman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Samuca Bastos made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Viggo Wallman notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Concórdia's Samuca Bastos. Samuca Bastos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samuca Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viggo Wallman in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Eurico Saldanha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samuca Bastos. Eurico Saldanha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Rec Sportivo FC's Alexsandro Del Piero was substituted for Viggo Wallman. Jurand Pincoski charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jurand Pincoski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jurand Pincoski hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Alexsandro Del Pieros short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Samuca Bastos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 82 minutes into the match, Concórdia's goalkeeper Samuca Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexsandro Del Piero. In the 83rd minute of the match, Alexsandro Del Piero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Samuca Bastos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 85 minutes into the match, Concórdia's goalkeeper Samuca Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexsandro Del Piero. With his leg Samuca Bastos managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Rec Sportivo FC's Eurico Saldanha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice moves Alexsandro Del Piero could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Samuca Bastos however easily saved by the left post. In the 93rd minute, Alexsandro Del Piero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rec Sportivo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Rec Sportivo FC's Lucas Lugano was substituted for Enio Faria. The Concórdia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rec Sportivo FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
