Pedro Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. William de Queirós succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 15th playminute. In the 20th minute, Oscar Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adelia's Zé Paulo Sá couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Itallo FC. In the 22nd minute, Márcio Mangueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Adelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Pena to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Arlindo Braga notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Adelia's Pedro Ferreira. Pedro Ferreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the match, Adelia's goal looked a bit too open when Iuri Vargas came free, but Pedro Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Hoffmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antônio de Andrade in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Márcio Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adelia's supporters rose to their feet, but Márcio Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Márcio Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Adelia's William de Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Mangueira in the 61st minute of play forced Itallo FC's goalkeeper Miguel Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arlindo Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Ferreira having to interfere. Antônio de Andrade hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Márcio Mangueira notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Itallo FC's Miguel Hoffmann. Miguel Hoffmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Márcio Mangueira in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Hoffmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Adelia getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Antônio de Andrade hit a great ball. Iuri Vargass short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Pedro Ferreira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Márcio Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
