Vinícius Alagoano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Vinícius Alagoano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Abacaxy's José Vítor Miranda did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mané Aguiar got free with José Vítor Miranda in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Abacaxy fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Abacaxy's Ulysses Alcântara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 13 minutes into the match, Abacaxy's goalkeeper José Vítor Miranda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Brasil. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Carlos Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abacaxy's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Negri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin de Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ulysses Alcântara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franklin de Godoi was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. When Alfredo Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Tucunzeiro EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. José Vítor Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Abacaxy's José Vítor Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Breckenfeld in the 71st minute of play. The Tucunzeiro EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Abacaxy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
