Spectators: 7026 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Geovanni Medeiros started the match with the kick off. Berta's Amauri da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionísio Salgado in the 5th minute of play. Daniel Neto came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Berta's Digo Amorim. But to his dismay, Digo Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 12th minute Geovanni Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Digo Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Daniel Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Daniel Moura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Neto, 2-0. Walmir Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Neto having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Digo Amorim in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Neto saved Lembranca from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Digo Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berta's supporters rose to their feet, but Digo Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarbas Veloso charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarbas Veloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Lembranca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Veloso to maneuver through the defense. Digo Amorim didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 32nd minute. Berta's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Lembranca's Geovanni Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Digo Amorim took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Daniel Neto to make any attempt to save it. Berta's Digo Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Berta's Digo Amorim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Neto. That made the score 5-0 after 48 minutes of play.

Digo Amorim took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Neto. Daniel Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Berta. Dé Quaresma stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daniel Neto. 7-0. In the 67th minute of the match Hélio Andrade shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Neto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 69th minute Dionísio Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Neto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Digo Amorim's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Digo Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Berta fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Berta's Digo Amorim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Digo Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Neto was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Digo Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Digo Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Digo Amorim in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Berta were the better team. Berta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
