Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Afonso Arruda took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rubinho Koehler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pousao futebol clube's zone, Magno Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquinhos Amaral came out of the goal and Magno Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Pousao futebol clube's goalkeeper Marquinhos Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júnior Mangueira. Marquinhos Amaral didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Aracy f.c's Sérgio Sergipano shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 17 minutes into the game, Afonso Arruda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rogério Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the match, Aracy f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Arruda came free, but Rogério Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Júnior Mangueira put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marquinhos Amaral. After 29 minutes of play, Aracy f.c's Júnior Mangueira made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marquinhos Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ezequiel de Mendonça hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Sérgio Sergipano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Rubinho Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aracy f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubinho Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marquinhos Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sérgio Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sérgio Sergipano in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marquinhos Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the match, Aracy f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Arruda came free, but Rogério Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rubinho Koehler hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sérgio Sergipano was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Rubinho Koehler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Marquinhos Amaral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Aracy f.c booed when Pousao futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sérgio Sergipano in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marquinhos Amaral saved Pousao futebol clube from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Pousao futebol clube's Wágner Aparecido got a free kick in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pousao futebol clube's zone, Júnior Mangueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquinhos Amaral came out of the goal and Júnior Mangueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Afonso Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute, Magno Cordeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aracy f.c fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Marquinhos Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Bebeto Aguiar hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Marquinhos Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Sérgio Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marquinhos Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aracy f.c had played much better football throughout.
