In the 13th minute of the match Sydney Mello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladimir Sladkov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Marcus de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dracarys's Vladimir Sladkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Sousa in the 21st minute of play. Otávio Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Sladkov having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juvenal Negri in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arí Abreu saved Piraja SS from getting behind. Franklin Koehler's late challenge caught a Dracarys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franklin Koehler helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Piraja SS's Franklin Koehler got a free kick in the 28th minute. Luan de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Abreu having to interfere. Arí Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus de Castro in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Marcus de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luan de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Dracarys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luan de Souza couldn't finish the play. Arí Abreu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luan de Souza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Laerte Esteves hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Luan de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otávio Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcus de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Juvenal Negri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arí Abreu. Piraja SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juvenal Negri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of Dracarys booed when Piraja SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arí Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Piraja SS's zone, Luan de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arí Abreu came out of the goal and Luan de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Marcus de Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piraja SS's goalkeeper Arí Abreu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denílson Fontes during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Piraja SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denílson Fontes to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dracarys fully deserved thier win.
