Piassava SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erveiras EC the free kick. After having played for 22 minutes, Léo Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erveiras EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léo Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Proença in the 24th minute of play forced Piassava SC's goalkeeper Marcelo de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Proença in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo de Andrade saved Piassava SC from getting behind. Léo Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marcelo de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Kléberson Freire made the kick off in the second half. Marcelo de Andrade stood somewhat misplaced when Daniel Proença came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 52 minute. In the 57th minute, Daniel Proença got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evandro Coelho during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tarcisio Meira, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match was over Erveiras EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Piassava SC throughout the match.
