Valdomiro Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Marcelo de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lúcio Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Marcelo de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdomiro Brasil ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Valdomiro Brasil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo de Andrade was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Valdomiro Brasil sped through Piassava SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelo de Andrade. Valdomiro Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo de Andrade having to interfere. If Valdomiro Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Piassava SC's zone, Marcelinho Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo de Andrade came out of the goal and Marcelinho Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SharMy FC's Ivo Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Lúcio Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rodriguinho Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kléberson Freire to make the kick off. Valdomiro Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo de Andrade having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Jean Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SharMy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the game, Kléberson Freire was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piassava SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SharMy FC the free kick. After 54 played minutes Piassava SC got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Freire. When SharMy FC's Valdomiro Brasil in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Piassava SC's goalie prevented a goal. Valdomiro Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo de Andrade having to make a save. In the 65th minute Lúcio Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, SharMy FC's Hamílton Maciel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo de Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valdomiro Brasil scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo de Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Piassava SC's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Queirós came free, but Marcelo de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Ivo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Valdomiro Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the SharMy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdomiro Brasil couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdomiro Brasil in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo de Andrade saved Piassava SC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdomiro Brasil in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo de Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 90 minutes, Kléberson Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piassava SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléberson Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodriguinho Vergílio came free in the 92nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Benjamin Pirani, but to the joy of SharMy FC's supporters the ball went over. In the 95th minute, Kléberson Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that SharMy FC were the better team. SharMy FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
