After a rather tough play, Erveiras EC's José Maria Abreu got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Aloísio Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albertinho Nóbrega in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dadá Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 minutes of play, Cutiu SC's Albertinho Nóbrega made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dadá Fernandes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aloísio Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Fernandes having to interfere. Marquinhos Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Proença in the 23rd minute of play. Dadá Fernandes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aloísio Fontes went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Aloísio Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes, Cutiu SC's Amauri Brito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dadá Fernandes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cutiu SC reached it. Dadá Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Erveiras EC's goalkeeper Dadá Fernandes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Léo Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Erveiras EC's zone, Aloísio Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dadá Fernandes came out of the goal and Aloísio Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute Albertinho Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute Léo Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldinho Campidelis's late challenge caught a Cutiu SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldinho Campidelis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Erveiras EC's Ronaldinho Campidelis got a free kick in the 75th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Cutiu SC's Dário Baptista tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 77 played minutes Cutiu SC got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Gomes. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Léo Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erveiras EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Léo Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marquinhos Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cutiu SC's goalkeeper Marquinhos Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marquinhos Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albertinho Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
