Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Matías Pitta got the match started through his kick off. Horácio Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Arantes having to interfere. Horácio Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lauro Arantes having to make a save. Lauro Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Ardeiras FC's goalkeeper Armando Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Luiz Cearense. Caco Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes April Spada FC got a freekick which was hit by Jailson da Costa. After having played for 19 minutes, Horácio Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ardeiras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horácio Peixoto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in April Spada FC's zone, Matías Pitta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lauro Arantes came out of the goal and Matías Pitta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lauro Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Pitta in the 25th minute of play. If Horácio Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Matías Pitta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Branco made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Luiz Cearense in the 33rd minute. If André Luiz Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jailson da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, André Luiz Cearense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Branco. Ardeiras FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Luiz Cearense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When April Spada FC's Caco Tasso in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ardeiras FC's goalie prevented a goal. Lauro Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caco Tasso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. André Luiz Cearense scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Branco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If André Luiz Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the game, Alessandro Paranaense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ardeiras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave April Spada FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ardeiras FC's Alessandro Paranaense got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Caco Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Tasso in the 78th minute of play. When Válbson Messias fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ardeiras FC's protests and gave Válbson Messias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Válbson Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. April Spada FC's André Luiz Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caco Tasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caco Tasso ran back to his position shaking his head. Caco Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrício Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horácio Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Lauro Arantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ardeiras FC. Horácio Peixoto in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lauro Arantes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, André Luiz Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. April Spada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luiz Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horácio Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ardeiras FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for April Spada FC.
