Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when João Pedro Toscano made the kick off which started today's match. Váldson Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. If Jeremias Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Luiz Gustavo Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tara EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Gustavo Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilherme Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Zilles in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guilherme Paes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Maia in the 11th minute of play forced Tara EC's goalkeeper Alessandro Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Gustavo Ceresso had several of the Itaguaje's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Guilherme Paes as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 23 played minutes Itaguaje got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Toscano. In the 24th minute, Váldson Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Itaguaje's Guilherme Paes got control of the ball when Jeremias Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Gustavo Ceressos short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Guilherme Paes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alessandro Botelho came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Itaguaje's Manuel Maia. But to his dismay, Manuel Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gugu Santana struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Guilherme Paes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tara EC. Guilherme Paes was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Luís Zilles capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Zilles really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. With his leg Guilherme Paes managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Tara EC's Luiz Gustavo Ceresso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 46 in the game by Luiz Gustavo Ceresso from a close distance when the talented Guilherme Paes managed to make a qualified save. Itaguaje's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Luiz Gustavo Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itaguaje's Guilherme Paes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute Luiz Gustavo Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luiz Gustavo Ceresso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guilherme Paes was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Tara EC's Gugu Santana was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guilherme Paes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 62 minutes into the game, Belmiro Proença was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itaguaje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tara EC the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, Itaguaje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Proença to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Gugu Santana sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Itaguaje's Guilherme Paes didn't even have to move. 65 minutes into the game, Luís Zilles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Guilherme Paes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Tara EC's Luiz Gustavo Ceresso, in the 69th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Tara EC. Guilherme Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Ceresso in the 70th minute of the match. Guilherme Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Zilles, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Gustavo Ceresso in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guilherme Paes saved Itaguaje from getting behind. When Tara EC's Luís Zilles in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itaguaje's goalie prevented a goal. Itaguaje's Guilherme Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Santana in the 85th minute of play. When Tara EC's Luiz Gustavo Ceresso in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itaguaje's goalie prevented a goal. Jeremias Barbosa's late challenge caught a Itaguaje's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Jeremias Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Luís Zilles put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Guilherme Paes. There was no doubt that Tara EC were the better team. Tara EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
