Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Delfim do Nascimento took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Fernão Moreno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Afonso Velasco. Fernão Moreno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Valenca's Valdo Zanette in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaguaracu FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 10 minutes, Fernão Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valenca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernão Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Amadeu Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdo Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Afonso Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yan Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Tande in the 20th minute of the match. Afonso Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernão Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdo Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Almir Koehler got free with Afonso Velasco in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, Valenca's Cipriano Corrêa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Afonso Velasco. Afonso Velasco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Jaguaracu FC's Afonso Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernão Moreno in the 32nd minute of play. Jaguaracu FC's Amadeu Botelho got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute Delfim do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Almir Koehler got free with Afonso Velasco in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdo Zanette was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Valenca. Olivier Vouillon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Afonso Velasco. 3-0. Yan Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim do Nascimento in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Fernão Moreno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso Velasco. Jaguaracu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernão Moreno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Almir Koehler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernão Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdo Zanette in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Zanette in the 75th minute of play forced Jaguaracu FC's goalkeeper Afonso Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernão Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Afonso Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Valenca's Valdo Zanette nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Jaguaracu FC's Afonso Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Koehler in the 81st minute of play. Yan Arósio was a little too slow when Delfim do Nascimento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 5-1. Jaguaracu FC's Afonso Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernão Moreno in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, Valenca's Yan Arósio got control of the ball when Artur Tande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afonso Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernão Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Valenca's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
