When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Belmiro Medeiros made a kick off. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Azambuja FC's Laércio Ceresso in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corinthians Paulistano's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle sounded Corinthians Paulistano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Azambuja FC.
