Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Josué Moreno took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Jean Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th match minute, Jeitosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Porto to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Curupira FC booed when Jeitosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fernando Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jardel Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Moreno in the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Josué Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serginho Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Guerra having to interfere. Serginho Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Júlio Velasco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tarcisio Sarmento, passed just outside the right post. Jardel Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Moreno in the 34th minute of play. Jean Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tarcisio Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeitosa's Tarcisio Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Jeitosa from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, Jean Soares notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Jeitosa's Tarcisio Sarmento. Tarcisio Sarmento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Júlio Velasco was the one to do the kick off. Júlio Velasco took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tarcisio Sarmento. Tarcisio Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Tarcisio Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Tarcisio Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Velasco in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Jeitosa's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Soares came free, but Tarcisio Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Júlio Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serginho Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jardel Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermínio Pombal charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermínio Pombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Curupira FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Pombal. In the 86th minute, Hélder Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 89 minutes, Serginho Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jeitosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serginho Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tarcisio Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Soares in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Velasco in the 92nd minute of play forced Jeitosa's goalkeeper Tarcisio Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jean Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curupira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarcisio Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Curupira FC had won after a very even match.
