With a little luck, Ipuca AD's Aloísio Alvarenga got control of the ball when Edu Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Ipuca AD's goalkeeper Aloísio Alvarenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ken Etii. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caetano Moraes made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Ipuca AD got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Paiva. In the 57th minute Caetano Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim do Vale in the 65th minute of play forced LuthorCorp FC's goalkeeper Edmundo Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
