Furo Reddy scored 2-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Augusto Barreto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 17 minutes, Moisés Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simplicio AD and the Rolândia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rolândia FC's Mário Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Alves in the 21st minute of play. Pedro Augusto Barreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Furo Reddy in the 26th minute. The Rolândia FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Rolândia FC's Furo Reddy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Célio Alves to make the kick off. José Vítor Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Seyfettin Akburçak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Simplicio AD's Dedé Salgado got a free kick in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Guaberto Tormejon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Augusto Barreto was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, Simplicio AD's goal looked a bit too open when Furo Reddy came free, but Pedro Augusto Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
