To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Kauã Carvalho sped through Abate EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cauan Gaspar. When Lino Leão came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Abate EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Leão couldn't finish the play. Toninho Lima took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cauan Gaspar. Abate EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kauã Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jefferson Cordeiro's late challenge caught a Cocos AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jefferson Cordeiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Abate EC's Jefferson Cordeiro got a free kick in the 30th minute. Kauã Carvalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Cauan Gaspar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 36 played minutes Abate EC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Duarte. With a little luck, Abate EC's Cauan Gaspar got control of the ball when Kauã Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cauan Gaspar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kauã Carvalho in the 43rd minute. Cauan Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filipe Maia struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Cauan Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cocos AD. Filipe Maia took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cauan Gaspar. Cauan Gaspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Filipe Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cocos AD booed when Abate EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abate EC's goalkeeper Cauan Gaspar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cocos AD had won after a very even match.
