Wilson Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro do Valle in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Ramiro Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jesenopolis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Tasso got free with Clóvis Loyola in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Paulo Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jesenopolis's Teodoro do Valle in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skyrock Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fábio Ferraz in the 29th minute of play forced Skyrock Sport Club's goalkeeper Wilson Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Baptista couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Wilson Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ramiro Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ramiro Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cléber Araújo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Abreu saved Skyrock Sport Club from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, Teodoro do Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Wilson Abreu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Jesenopolis were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro do Valle to strike the kick off in the second half. If Luiz Fábio Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Teodoro do Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Abreu was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Teodoro do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Abreu having to interfere. Ramiro Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Skyrock Sport Club's Wilson Abreu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Skyrock Sport Club from getting a goal against them. Teodoro do Valle struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Wilson Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jesenopolis. In the 80th minute Teodoro do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Luiz Fábio Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jesenopolis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 90th minute, one of Skyrock Sport Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Skyrock Sport Club. Yuri Pernambucano shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Teodoro do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Abreu having to interfere. Jesenopolis's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
