Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Eriberto Vaz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cleiton Fernandez hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Aldo Lucado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Arce was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 6thth minute of the game Aldo Lucado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maltide's Alberto Arce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Samuel Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Maltide's Gernando Bastos got a free kick in the 18th minute. Alberto Arce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Lucado's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Joélson Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo Cosme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alberto Arce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Samuel Paes hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Eriberto Vaz took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Celso Aguiar to make any attempt to save it. Itagua SC's Aldo Lucado got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joélson Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Bebeto Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celso Aguiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bebeto Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. 45 minutes into the match, Eriberto Vaz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celso Aguiar, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo Lucado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Vaz took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso Aguiar. Celso Aguiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Aldo Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Arce having to interfere. Gernando Bastos's late challenge caught a Itagua SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gernando Bastos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Maltide's Gernando Bastos got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Orlando Leal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Arce showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Cosme in the 59th minute of play forced Maltide's goalkeeper Alberto Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Ove Christoffersson during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 61 minutes into the game, one of Itagua SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aldo Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Arce having to interfere. Richard Baiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Arce having to make a save. Celso Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Itagua SC's Celso Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Vaz in the 71st minute of play. Celso Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Paes in the 72nd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Aldo Lucado notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Maltide's Alberto Arce. Alberto Arce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 83 minutes, Samuel Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maltide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Samuel Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Gilson Capixaba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maltide's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itagua SC the free kick. Gilson Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Celso Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Paes in the 92nd minute of play.
