Juvenal Lira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Botelho's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Juvenal Lira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Cajazeiro's zone, Alberto Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juvenal Lira came out of the goal and Alberto Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Dionísio Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUBE ATLÉTICO EMERICK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionísio Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Lira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionísio Moreno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juvenal Lira having to make a save. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 61 minutes into the match, Alberto Botelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juvenal Lira. Cajazeiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Botelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Juvenal Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionísio Moreno in the 66th minute of play. Alberto Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Alberto Botelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juvenal Lira was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Alberto Botelho scored 5-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juvenal Lira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Alberto Botelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juvenal Lira was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Juvenal Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
