When Matías Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Caribas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matías Garcia couldn't finish the play. Matías Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Alcântara having to interfere. Fabiano Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrício Rosa went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, Juvenal Prestes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Caribas's Samuca Ferraz. Samuca Ferraz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrício Rosa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Fabiano Alcântara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Samuca Ferraz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juvenal Prestes went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute, Caribas's Matías Garcia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabiano Alcântara. Fabiano Alcântara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. If Matías Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Caribas fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Caribas's Patrício Rosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Garcia in the 36th minute of play forced Ouvidor's goalkeeper Fabiano Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matías Garcia had several of the Ouvidor's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-2 score and a disappointed Fabiano Alcântara as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fabiano Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurício Garcia to make the kick off. Fabiano Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matías Garcia's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Juvenal Prestes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fabiano Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrício Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fábio Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Durvalino Valladares was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Maurício Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Samuca Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5-2 became the score in the 70th minute when Matías Garcia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ian Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Maurício Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuca Ferraz was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Ian Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Caribas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Loyola to maneuver through the defense. When Maurício Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ouvidor fans jumped to their feet.
