Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Duarte Eger started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Arambare's Nilmar Britto got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Duarte Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Romain Panhuyse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meneghetti Virtual Time's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romain Panhuyse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Romain Panhuyse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ademar Brodel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovânio Monteiro got free with Cesinha Antunes in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arambare's Geovânio Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Arambare getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Carlos Augusto Hermes hit a great ball. Meneghetti Virtual Time's Romain Panhuyse got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute Duarte Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Geovânio Monteiro made the kick off in the second half. Ademar Brodel was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Romain Panhuyse capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Romain Panhuyse really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Duarte Eger charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duarte Eger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Arambare booed when Meneghetti Virtual Time was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Régis Fantini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arambare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meneghetti Virtual Time the free kick. After 64 played minutes Arambare got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Diniz. The attack was good, but when Romain Panhuyse in the 66th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a little luck, Arambare's Ademar Brodel got control of the ball when Romain Panhuyse tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Edmundo Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Meneghetti Virtual Time's goal looked a bit too open when Geovânio Monteiro came free, but Cesinha Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Meneghetti Virtual Time getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Edmundo Tepedino hit a great ball. Ademar Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Lira in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Carlos Augusto Hermes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arambare and the Meneghetti Virtual Time players grew even worse after the yellow card. Meneghetti Virtual Time made a substitution. Luisinho Recife replaced Lauro Félix. After 89 played minutes Arambare got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Hermes. Luisinho Recife scored 0-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ademar Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
