Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cássio Velasco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Murillo Machado hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Noel Pernambucano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Osvaldo Mesquita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Noel Pernambucano firmly grabbed it by the left post. 2-0 became the score in the 28th minute when Cássio Velasco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Cássio Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Teodoro Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sipicue booed when Cirilo EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrianinho Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Osvaldo Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cirilo EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osvaldo Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Noel Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manfredo Toscano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Cirilo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Machado to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Martins having to interfere. Osvaldo Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Noel Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noel Pernambucano came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Cirilo EC's Cássio Velasco. But to his dismay, Cássio Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Osvaldo Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Pernambucano having to interfere. Osvaldo Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osvaldo Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Noel Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Gomes charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Gomes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, Sipicue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Gomes to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Mesquita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Noel Pernambucano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cássio Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Pernambucano having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvaldo Mesquita in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noel Pernambucano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Sipicue's Valdemar Loureiro got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Osvaldo Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Manfredo Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sipicue's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfredo Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almir Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Sipicue's zone, Osvaldo Mesquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Pernambucano came out of the goal and Osvaldo Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cirilo EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
