Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristóvão Alagoano started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Piratuba booed when Monsanto SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 6 minutes into the game, when Juninho Salgado put in a rough tackle. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Piratuba! In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Monsanto SS. João Adolfo Matos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ramon Enmanuel. 0-1. Ramon Enmanuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Monsanto SS's Sílvio Luiz Pitta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Monsanto SS from getting a goal against them. Duda Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sílvio Luiz Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Pedro Paulo Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Enmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laércio Negri hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Duda Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piratuba's supporters rose to their feet, but Duda Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Luiz Pitta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Duda Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Enmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Berger in the 38th minute of play. Duda Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sílvio Luiz Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Duda Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piratuba's Ramon Enmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Moraes in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duda Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Duda Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramon Enmanuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Monsanto SS's Cristian Berger got a free kick in the 55th minute. Pedro Paulo Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ramon Enmanuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piratuba's Duda Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Piratuba's Duda Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sílvio Luiz Pitta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sílvio Luiz Pitta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fábio Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Duda Moreira struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Sílvio Luiz Pitta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piratuba. Laércio Negri's late challenge caught a Piratuba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laércio Negri helped the player get up and apologised. Laércio Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Monsanto SS's goal looked a bit too open when Duda Moreira came free, but Sílvio Luiz Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piratuba's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
