The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloísio Urbano got free with Rui Novaes in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fellipe Paulista hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Fiel FC's Aloísio Urbano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rui Novaes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Flamengo's Rafael Miranda suffered a concussion after 24 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aloísio Urbano during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aloísio Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Tony Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Pedro Vidal went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Rui Novaes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Giovani Melo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 38 minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Fiel FC's Aloísio Urbano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Novaes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Filipe Lira's late challenge caught a Flamengo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Lira helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fiel FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Flamengo's Rui Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani Melo in the 58th minute of play. Rui Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Urbano in the 62nd minute of the match. Zé Pedro Vidal made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 65thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Tony Cunha would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Rui Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Paes in the 66th minute of the match. Rui Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovani Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Fellipe Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Fiel FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Flamengo to win.
