When Aloísio de Salles fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamengo's protests and gave Aloísio de Salles a yellow card for diving instead. 楚宽克 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Rafa de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 楚宽克 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rui Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Fellipe Paulista recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerson Esteves. Fellipe Paulista showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Nico Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Vidal in the 45th minute of play forced Tormenta AD's goalkeeper Gerson Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Rafa de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tormenta AD were furious when Sylven Van Eyke was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 48 played minutes Tormenta AD got a freekick which was hit by Sylven Van Eyke.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Pedro Vidal to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Flamengo's Zé Pedro Vidal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerson Esteves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Gerson Esteves came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo's Fellipe Paulista. But to his dismay, Fellipe Paulista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 67 minutes of play, Flamengo's Zé Pedro Vidal made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerson Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gerson Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 79 minutes into the match, Tormenta AD's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Miranda came free, but Gerson Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerson Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the game, Fellipe Paulista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Gerson Esteves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute Zé Pedro Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerson Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Vidal in the 93rd minute of play forced Tormenta AD's goalkeeper Gerson Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8-0 became the score in the 94th minute when Zé Pedro Vidal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Flamengo booed when Tormenta AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tormenta AD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
