Tauoa SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, William Bezerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos da Fonseca. JéCaremBruno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Bezerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. David Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos da Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sydney da Silveira in the 17th minute. 23 minutes into the match, JéCaremBruno's Emerson Toscano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Porto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yuri Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. JéCaremBruno's Emerson Toscano got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Solak in the 28th minute of play forced Tauoa SS's goalkeeper David Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sydney da Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Marcos da Fonseca made a huge save. David Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Emerson Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emerson Toscano to make the kick off. William Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tauoa SS's zone, Emerson Toscano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Porto came out of the goal and Emerson Toscano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rômulo da Silva's late challenge caught a JéCaremBruno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rômulo da Silva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Rômulo da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Valdemar Diniz fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JéCaremBruno's protests and gave Valdemar Diniz a yellow card for diving instead. João Augusto das Neves's late challenge caught a JéCaremBruno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tauoa SS's Alessandro da Silva got a free kick in the 88th minute. Sydney da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marcos da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mané Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
