Paranagi's Ivo Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelinho Pimenta in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Valadares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Paranagi fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Paranagi's Marcelinho Pimenta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paranagi's Ivo Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelinho Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Valadares having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelinho Pimenta made a kick off. Paranagi's Marcelinho Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Marcelinho Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute, Paranagi's Ivo Moura ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oscar Valadares. Oscar Valadares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 58th minute, Virso Futebol Clube's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcelinho Pimenta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marcelinho Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Oscar Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paranagi's Marcelinho Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paranagi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelinho Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Virso Futebol Clube's Oscar Valadares got control of the ball when Ivo Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Virso Futebol Clube's Oscar Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Pimenta in the 96th minute of play. Paranagi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
