GUERREIRO's Dino Severo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save GUERREIRO from getting a goal against them. Edgar Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Paulista having to interfere. GUERREIRO's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristiano Passos 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. If Igor Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 34 minutes, Cristiano Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viamão Patriotas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristiano Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Passos managed to, on his own, get straight through GUERREIRO's defense and in the 39th minute placed the ball to the left of Dino Severo. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Passos in the 46th minute of play forced GUERREIRO's goalkeeper Dino Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Passos was the one to do the kick off. Dino Severo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Passos's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Edgar Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Cardoso's late challenge caught a Viamão Patriotas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. Edgar Cardoso hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Viamão Patriotas's Cristiano Passos got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, GUERREIRO's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Damião came free, but Dino Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Severo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Passos went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 70 minutes, Igor Damião made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. GUERREIRO's Dino Severo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Cristóvão Bertassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dino Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Passos in the 75th minute of play. Cristiano Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Passos struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Dino Severo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viamão Patriotas. A collision led to GUERREIRO getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Edgar Cardoso hit a great ball. The supporters of GUERREIRO booed when Viamão Patriotas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, GUERREIRO's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Passos came free, but Dino Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Edgar Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viamão Patriotas's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
