Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vito Massa got the match started through his kick off. Lúcio Soeiro took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Belchior de Azevedo. Belchior de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 14th minute Hugo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute of the match, Hugo Castro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Belchior de Azevedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pedrão Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Subijana, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Dagoberto Subijana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 played minutes Paumaripe SS got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Castro. Dagoberto Subijana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes Paumaripe SS got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Castro. 28 minutes into the match, Freguezia's goalkeeper Belchior de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Castro. Juninho Zilles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vito Massa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Belchior de Azevedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Vito Massa slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 32nd minute. Belchior de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paumaripe SS's Pedrão Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Karlstad in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute Hugo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Carlos Freire took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Belchior de Azevedo. Freguezia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. João Carlos Freire hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Freguezia's Júlio Diniz in action when he in the 49th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dagoberto Subijana to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Severino Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paumaripe SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Freguezia the free kick. Severino Nascimento hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Pedrão Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Subijana in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Massa in the 63rd minute of play forced Freguezia's goalkeeper Belchior de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freguezia's Belchior de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Soeiro in the 65th minute of play. Belchior de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vito Massa fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paumaripe SS's protests and gave Vito Massa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, Paumaripe SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Massa to maneuver through the defense. Paumaripe SS's Pedrão Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Pinheiro in the 72nd minute of play. Pedrão Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Subijana in the 73rd minute of play. Lúcio Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Lúcio Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juninho Zilles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Pedrão Paiva made a huge save. Freguezia's Juninho Zilles got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Freguezia's Belchior de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Romero in the 93rd minute of play. Paumaripe SS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Freguezia for a fine match.
