Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gilberto Lima started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Robinho Urbano came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Marayal's Thiago Nóbrega. But to his dismay, Thiago Nóbrega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thiago Nóbrega struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Robinho Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marayal. Serafim Mendes took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldemar Proença. Waldemar Proença dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. William Rezende hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Serafim Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldemar Proença. Marayal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafim Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 33 minutes into the match, Marayal's Thiago Nóbrega sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robinho Urbano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Telmo Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tambequi's Robinho Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Gomes in the 35th minute of play. Elivélton Pontes charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elivélton Pontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37thth minute of the game Thiago Nóbrega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tambequi's Robinho Urbano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robinho Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Nóbrega in the 39th minute of play. Tambequi's Robinho Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Gomes in the 41st minute of play. Waldemar Proença stood somewhat misplaced when Serafim Mendes came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 46 minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thiago Nóbrega made a kick off. Marayal's Waldemar Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Mendes in the 51st minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marayal's goalkeeper Waldemar Proença, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joaquim Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Urbano having to interfere. Serafim Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thiago Nóbrega struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Robinho Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marayal. After having played for 72 minutes, Serafim Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tambequi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafim Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waldemar Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Lima in the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Tambequi's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Nóbrega came free, but Robinho Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Lima in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Tambequi booed when Marayal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, William Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tambequi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vito Brasil in the 89th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Marayal's goalie and right to Ismael Figueiredo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Marayal's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tambequi's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
