Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) 10 minutes into the match, Tibúrcio Rosado notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Xereu's Fausto de Carvalho. Fausto de Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Tibúrcio Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Poeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibúrcio Rosado couldn't finish the play. Fausto de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Diniz in the 18th minute of play. 0-2 became the score in the 19th minute when Deivid Diniz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 25 played minutes Poeira got a freekick which was hit by Tibúrcio Rosado. 32 minutes into the match, Xereu's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Esteves came free, but Fausto de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emílio Santana made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Gustavo Mandrak sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Poeira's zone, Régis Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Santana came out of the goal and Régis Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tibúrcio Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deivid Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibúrcio Rosado in the 42nd minute of the match. Xereu's Régis Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arí Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Régis Nogueira was the one to do the kick off. Poeira's Emílio Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Mandrak in the 53rd minute of play. Tibúrcio Rosado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Fausto de Carvalho made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Fred Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the match, Deivid Diniz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fausto de Carvalho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 61 minutes into the match, Deivid Diniz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fausto de Carvalho, 0-4. Fausto de Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tibúrcio Rosado in the 69th minute. In the 74th minute, Deivid Diniz made a precise shot to the right of Fausto de Carvalho. Xereu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Fausto de Carvalho made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Deivid Diniz sent off a good shot on target. Fausto de Carvalho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Deivid Diniz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 84 minute of play. Deivid Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Fausto de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Régis Nogueira's late challenge caught a Poeira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Régis Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Xereu getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Régis Nogueira hit a great ball. The Xereu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Poeira were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
