The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Ramón Alvarenga took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Silas de Queiroz to make any attempt to save it. 10 minutes into the match, Comocoxico's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Alvarenga came free, but Silas de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ramón Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Condeixa's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramón Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silas de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Comocoxico's goalkeeper Silas de Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélio Moreira. Silas de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Condeixa's Ramón Alvarenga in the 21st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Silas de Queiroz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Comocoxico through an amazing save. When Percy Mattos fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Comocoxico's protests and gave Percy Mattos a yellow card for diving instead. Luciano Severo charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Severo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Comocoxico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Severo to maneuver through the defense. Percival Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Percy Mattos came free in the 39th minute and tried to tip the ball over Dionísio Peixoto, but to the joy of Condeixa's supporters the ball went over. Ramón Alvarenga might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silas de Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramón Alvarenga ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliézer Bastos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silas de Queiroz. That made the score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Koehler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Adalberto Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hélio Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Condeixa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélio Moreira couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Condeixa booed when Comocoxico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélio Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas de Queiroz having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Comocoxico's goal looked a bit too open when Hélio Cardoso came free, but Silas de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Hélio Cardoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Condeixa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Ramón Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas de Queiroz having to interfere. Silas de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hélio Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Hélio Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Condeixa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
