Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arthur Couto took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Carauari's goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho Faustino came free, but Chicão Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had been going on for 13 minutes, Carauari's Genílson Teixeira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luizinho Gerber. 20 minutes into the match, Carauari's goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho Faustino came free, but Chicão Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Arthur Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vágner Negri hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Luizinho Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luizinho Gerber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilmar Paraibano in the 25th minute. In the 31st minute, Júlio Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gilmar Paraibano came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Carauari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilmar Paraibano couldn't finish the play. Carauari's Chicão Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Faustino in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Vágner Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Zézinho Prado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luizinho Gerber. The goal made the score 2-0. Alto's Luizinho Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Trigo in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Zézinho Prado made the kick off in the second half. Chicão Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Couto in the 54th minute of play. Zézinho Prado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luizinho Gerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Zézinho Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Gerber having to interfere. In the 60thth minute of the game Zézinho Prado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alto's Luizinho Gerber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Alto's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Paraibano came free, but Luizinho Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Gilmar Paraibano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67 played minutes, Carauari's Juvenal Donato shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luizinho Gerber came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carauari reached it. Alto's Luizinho Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Prado in the 68th minute of play. Luizinho Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Prado in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Fabinho Trigo made a precise shot to the right of Luizinho Gerber. Alto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Arthur Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Miranda having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zézinho Prado in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luizinho Gerber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Carauari's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arthur Couto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Zézinho Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Carauari had won after a very even match.
