The supporters of Flamengo booed when skollp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio da Silva took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cássio Figueiredo. Cássio Figueiredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Lauro Meirelles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Cássio Figueiredo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cássio Figueiredo was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Paulo Rocha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Rocha really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 25 minutes into the game, Igor Donato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. skollp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo the free kick. After 25 played minutes skollp got a freekick which was hit by Igor Donato. Cássio Figueiredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Rocha in the 30th minute. If Paulo Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Júlio da Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Rochas short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Cássio Figueiredo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paulo Rocha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Cássio Figueiredo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Paulo Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Rocha got free with Cássio Figueiredo in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cássio Figueiredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Rocha in the 45th minute. André Luís Motta charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Lauro Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauro Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flamengo's Marcos Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Motta in the 69th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Moisés Mendes put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cássio Figueiredo. 77 minutes into the match, skollp's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Rocha came free, but Cássio Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Rocha in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Erik Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Paulo Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After some careless play in the skollp defense, Frederico Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Figueiredo. The skollp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Figueiredo should have stopped the shot. skollp's Cássio Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Freire in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Flamengo's Paulo Rocha made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cássio Figueiredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flamengo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
