Spectators: 7179 (Terracing: 5386, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reinhard Isele took the kick off in the first half of the match. Guto Zilles charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guto Zilles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Chicão Tavares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo de Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Wesley Galvão hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Wesley Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chicão Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gustavo de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Tavares in the 14th minute of play forced Mandiroba's goalkeeper Gustavo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Chicão Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauã Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Mandiroba's goal looked a bit too open when Chicão Tavares came free, but Gustavo de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mandiroba's Gustavo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Penha in the 20th minute of play. Gustavo de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chicão Tavares in the 21st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Mandiroba's Benê Velasco threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reinhard Isele, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 40th minute Chicão Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Renatinho Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Mandiroba's Benê Velasco threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reinhard Isele, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Chicão Tavares got free with Gustavo de Toledo in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benê Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinhard Isele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mandiroba's zone, Chicão Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo de Toledo came out of the goal and Chicão Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 played minutes Mandiroba got a freekick which was hit by Reinhard Isele. In the 67th match minute, Mandiroba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Hård to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by João Augusto Almeida from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Gustavo de Toledo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 77 played minutes Mandiroba got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Hård. Mandiroba's Gustavo de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Mandiroba from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Mandiroba's Gustavo de Toledo got control of the ball when Chicão Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reinhard Isele struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Benê Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mandiroba. 93 minutes into the match, Mandiroba's goalkeeper Gustavo de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chicão Tavares. 94 minutes into the match, Chicão Tavares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo de Toledo. Mandiroba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chicão Tavares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cruz Negra Esporte Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
