Sydney Barral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sílvio da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th match minute, Acude SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celsinho Mota scored 2-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celsinho Mota got free with Severino Medeiros in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adriano Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Barral having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Isajateua getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Christian Trigo hit a great ball. Deivid Severo's late challenge caught a Acude SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deivid Severo helped the player get up and apologised. Deivid Severo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Guilherme Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Simão Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isajateua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute of the match, Christian Trigo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sydney Barral was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Acude SC's Sydney Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Almeida in the 87th minute of play. Roberto Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celsinho Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Severino Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guilherme Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Acude SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Isajateua had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
