Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Luís Paulo Bueno started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as BEHEMOTH's Hermínio Montenegro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavinho Furtado. That made the score 1-0 after 2 minutes of play. After some careless play in the BEHEMOTH defense, Tarcisio Quirino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorino Lobo. The BEHEMOTH fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Lobo should have stopped the shot. Hermínio Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavinho Furtado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laércio do Vale went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Victorino Lobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarcisio Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Laércio do Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavinho Furtado was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Laércio do Vale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Flavinho Furtado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Flavinho Furtado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laércio do Vale in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute, Laércio do Vale made a precise shot to the right of Flavinho Furtado. Macarani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Victorino Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcisio Quirino in the 35th minute of play. After 37 played minutes BEHEMOTH got a freekick which was hit by Caio Favoretto. 39 minutes into the match, BEHEMOTH's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Paulo Bueno came free, but Victorino Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorino Lobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcisio Quirino in the 40th minute of the match. Victorino Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo Bueno in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laércio do Vale to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Claudinho Marques could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Victorino Lobo however easily saved by the left post. Laércio do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laércio do Vale in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavinho Furtado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute of the match Caio Favoretto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavinho Furtado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tarcisio Quirino charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tarcisio Quirino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BEHEMOTH booed when Macarani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, one of BEHEMOTH:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 82 minutes, Macarani's Arlindo Guimarães got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Victorino Lobo. 86 minutes into the match, BEHEMOTH's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Paulo Bueno came free, but Victorino Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermínio Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavinho Furtado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermínio Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. When Mazinho Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BEHEMOTH's protests and gave Mazinho Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. Mazinho Amorim hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Luiz Fábio de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Flavinho Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BEHEMOTH fully deserved thier win.
