After 7 minutes, Agostinho Macedo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Chorona EC's Andrézinho Machado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dida Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Andrézinho Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Agostinho Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Macedo in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrézinho Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernani Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Andrézinho Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dito França hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Dida Baiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Andrézinho Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Paçoca FC's Agostinho Macedo in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Paçoca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dida Baiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiago Gabriel Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Machado having to interfere. When Agostinho Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Paçoca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agostinho Macedo couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Chorona EC's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Macedo came free, but Andrézinho Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes Chorona EC got a freekick which was hit by Dito França. After having played for 44 minutes, Agostinho Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paçoca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agostinho Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrézinho Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agostinho Macedo went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agostinho Macedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Andrézinho Machado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agostinho Macedo's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Agostinho Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrézinho Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Baiano in the 63rd minute of play. Andrézinho Machado made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Agostinho Macedo sent off a good shot on target. Chorona EC's Andrézinho Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Chorona EC from getting a goal against them. Andrézinho Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Baiano in the 66th minute of the match. With his leg Andrézinho Machado managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Paçoca FC's Agostinho Macedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dida Baiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrézinho Machado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dida Baiano ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Ferraz during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paçoca FC! Agostinho Macedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrézinho Machado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agostinho Macedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Andrézinho Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Baiano in the 94th minute of play. Paçoca FC were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Chorona EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisinho Favoretto took the corner. Agostinho Macedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Andrézinho Machado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Chorona EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paçoca FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
