Baile de Monique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Gustavo Amaral having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso de Queiroz in the 22nd minute of play forced DG.F.CLUBE's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, DG.F.CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Pinho came free, but Carlos Fernando Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Peixoto got free with Luiz Gustavo Amaral in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Thiago Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, F.C. Baile de Monique's Luiz Gustavo Amaral got control of the ball when Joel Peixoto tried to sneak it across the goal line. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Thiago Faria notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of F.C. Baile de Monique's Luiz Gustavo Amaral. Luiz Gustavo Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luiz Gustavo Amaral came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by DG.F.CLUBE's Joel Peixoto. But to his dismay, Joel Peixoto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Baile de Monique's zone, José Carlos Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Gustavo Amaral came out of the goal and José Carlos Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DG.F.CLUBE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
