Leonardo Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute Norberto dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match Dedê Bittencourt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonardo Lopez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 15 played minutes Mansidao EC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Leal. 17 minutes into the match, Adrianinho Cordeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Lopez. ADRENALINA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrianinho Cordeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, ADRENALINA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto dos Santos came free, but Leonardo Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mansidao EC booed when ADRENALINA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 minutes, Oscar Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ADRENALINA FC and the Mansidao EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Norberto dos Santos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leonardo Lopez, passed just outside the right post. Waldemar Cavalcante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Carvalho having to make a save. After 82 played minutes, Mansidao EC's Dedê Bittencourt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonardo Lopez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mansidao EC reached it. Norberto dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Mansidao EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while ADRENALINA FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
