After 3 played minutes, Ingazeiras's Orlando Furlan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Carvalho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ingazeiras reached it. After 6 played minutes Norberto dos Santos rounded Ingazeiras's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Norberto dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Pimenta having to interfere. If Durvalino Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Durvalino Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Pedro Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Nuno Gaúcho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mansidao EC and the Ingazeiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Adrianinho Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Pimenta having to interfere. Durvalino Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sílvio Luiz Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Pedro Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durvalino Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Carvalho having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Mansidao EC's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luiz Azevedo came free, but Pedro Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Paulo Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Ingazeiras's Sílvio Luiz Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Durvalino Tróia got free in front of the goal in the 41st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Pedro Carvalho was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Durvalino Tróia to make the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Ingazeiras's Durvalino Tróia made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adrianinho Cordeiro took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Pimenta. Bernardo Pimenta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Sílvio Luiz Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70thth minute of the game Adrianinho Cordeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ingazeiras's Bernardo Pimenta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 73 played minutes, Mansidao EC's José Vítor Eger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernardo Pimenta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Norberto dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durvalino Tróia got free with Pedro Carvalho in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jardel de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ingazeiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Jardel de Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingazeiras's Durvalino Tróia got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto dos Santos in the 95th minute of play. Adrianinho Cordeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Pimenta having to make a save.
