Eliseu Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro de Barros in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Geroki getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Nilton das Neves hit a great ball. If Carlos Fernando Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Narciso Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Messias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Eduardo Goiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Jorginho Loyola fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Geroki's protests and gave Jorginho Loyola a yellow card for diving instead. Jorginho Loyola hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Eliseu Andrade was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luiz Fernando da Mata. Lenílson Alves's late challenge caught a Bad Boys Jrs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lenílson Alves helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Geroki got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Alves. Lenílson Alves got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Lenílson Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jaime Peixoto made the kick off in the second half. Bad Boys Jrs's Telmo Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Peixoto during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jaime Peixoto hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Eliseu Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Eliseu Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro de Barros in the 58th minute of the match. Eliseu Prata scored 1-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseu Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Perivaldo Toledo during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geroki's Anselmo Gonçalves was substituted for Délio Antunes. The supporters of Geroki booed when Bad Boys Jrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Jaime Peixoto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. After 75 played minutes Geroki got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Peixoto. João Adolfo Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. João Adolfo Pires was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Geroki's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bad Boys Jrs's zone, Anselmo Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Eduardo Goiano came out of the goal and Anselmo Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Adolfo Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Anselmo Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geroki's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Eduardo Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bad Boys Jrs's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
