Manuel Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Seco in the 29th minute of the match. The referee ignored Corinthians's protests and gave Zé Paulo Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Corinthians getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Zé Paulo Alcântara hit a great ball. Eurico Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Gaspar's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Otávio Paranaense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corinthians's Eurico Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eurico Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
